February is known worldwide for Valentine’s Day, and in that spirit, the Comedy Knights will stage the ‘Love and Comedy’ on Saturday at Serena Hotel.
“Funny men Arthur, Michael, Babu, George, Herve and Junior will bring you the latest on different topics like the recently concluded Miss Rwanda contest, Primus Guma Guma selections and also tell you about the Valentine’s day – how it went, what you were supposed to do, what happens after Valentine’s and how it was celebrated in different parts of the country,” Comedy Knights manager Nice Budandi said.
The show will also feature music and dance with a special performance by singer Weya Viatora.
Entrance is Frw 5,000.
• Amag-the Black’s album launch: Local rapper Amag-the Black will launching his new ‘Nyabarongo’ album on Saturday at the University of Rwanda in Huye district.
Safi Madiba of the Urban Boys trio and with who he sang the ‘Nyabarongo’ title song, will join him. Also expected to make an appearance are artistes like Senderi, King James, Bruce Melody, Pacy, Riderman, Allioni and Jay Polly.
The song ‘Nyabarongo,’ which has enjoyed countrywide airplay, talks about the perils of life in the city and how most people, after crossing the Nyabarongo River to come to Kigali, do everything possible never to go back to their home villages.
